Hello Everyone,

My name is Joseph. I'm 51 and live in Endicott, NY. I remember as a kid, getting the magic bug watching Doug Henning float a girl over spickets of water on tv. I was about 8 then. I started to go to the VFW with my parents when I was about 10 and did closeup magic for the ole vets at the bar and they bought me soda and chips. So I have always loved closeup the best.
Now I have had a part time business for about 10 yrs now. I have done table hopping at some of the local restaurants, table side at dinner parties and special functions. I also do kids birthday parties, mentalist type shows for those abit older and enjoy doing a few escapes. I have to stop doing that double straigh jacket escape.....I'm gettin' too old lol.
I also have a effect in the works with BlacksMagic. It has been mentioned in a news letter on up coming effects. It's called Pinched.

Joe my man!

Well, Joe and I met a little over a year ago. He's a cool dude who I like a lot. We've got an effect of his called "Pinched' that we're re-shooting. It always seems like we can't get it done, finished, out the door, or otherwise. My hope is to see that one done soon... for goodness sake! LOL. Joe's a good guy, so make him welcome here guys!

Welcome to Blacks Joe,
I have a lot of experience doing kid shows as well, infact I have almost 2500 shows under my belt, however the last 5 years or so I only do about 20 a year. I am more of an adult performer after figuring out who I am in life and in magic. As with my upcoming DVD here at blacks you will see my blue humor that I normaly use when working Bars and a mature crowd. I have a stage show that is about an hour long that is mostly comedy magic and pickpocketing with the exception of snow at the end( a tribute to my grandfather and probably one of the few stories with snow that is true lol).
