Update....
Just spoke to a friend who was on the show. She told me of how the live audience was asked to ham it up for the cameras and boo. They were told it would make for some fun shots and when they weren't animated enough they were told to do " thumbs down" gestures..etc.
These shots are then edited in later when they want to make someone look like they did poorly. My friend watched the show and saw several acts get booed on television that really didn't the day she saw the show live.
As if Jerry Springers participation wasn't enough of a hint at the direction the show is going? LOL
