Yes.... its an old bit but the "performance" is what was copied. You have to admit that the Jesus performance is a direct rip from Arts act including the music. I also thought about the music royalties but that will come out in court if he didn't pay rights.
Think of it this way. The "egg bag" is an old trick. Jeff Hobson does it better than anyone....PERIOD! Jeff markets his routine. Anyone can perform the egg bag but to use Jeffs routine without permission would be stealing it.
This routine is Arts and Family guy used it without his permission. Time will tell what happens in this case. I'll be watching it closely.
