The Next Generation of Magicians...Name EM!
Hello All,
Just thought I'd start a discussion on who we may thing will become some large players in the future of magic. I'm talking about those people that you want to keep an eye on because they will likely make it somewhere. Do you know of any you feel will become a "name" in magics future? If so tell us who they are but also tell us WHY you think they will make it.
I have a few names to offer but don't want to influence the thread so I'll let others start.
Best,
Tim

Thanks for the reply John but you didn't mention WHY you think they will excel. They WHY is the important part. Otherwise everyone will simply list the names for friends.
One of my choices would be Dan Sperry. The WHY would be because he's a mold breaker and his look is quite original as well as his performance. As wild as his look is he performance is first class.
Here is a video of him performing a small effect with a great presentation.
Best,
Tim

Thats what I was hoping for .
Well I think Chris is a very talented person and on youtube he has influenced thousands of people. With his theme of "speak to the world", he has had more and more people enjoy his magic more and more. He doesnt have an ego at all and he shows everyone to look at the world differently. Not only does he have great talents, but a great personality to get people thinking about life itself.
Jordan on the other hand is a very creative person. With his new tnr, Holy Grail, he has made the impossible, possible. The most visual tnr out there, the more people see it, the more people are going to remember it. His newest ideas (cant say them quite yet), are very creative and hes always creating more and more things that look amazing.
Remember both of these names, because I know in the next couple of years, EVERYONE is going to be knowing them.

Next Generation
Whomever I say. LOL!
Seriously, no question Chris and Jordan. Jesse too. And Irish Ghost. Oh, and John, and everyone else that is serious, works hard, and is willing to act as a part of a synergistic whole for the good of no only themselves, but the person on their left and right.
The most successful people in life are the ones who understand this.

James,
If you went to a horse race would you bet on all the horses that are hard working or do you bet on the horses that are owned by your friends? I bet on the one that I think had the best odds of winning. The world is full of hard working people and talented people as well. They can't all become top in their field. There just isn't room at the top for everyone.
The purpose of the thread was to discuss those who are moving ahead in the pack these days and maybe to discuss how they are doing it. I picked Dan Sperry because I see him as someone who is moving up the ladder and making a place for himself. Originality, combined with a great presentation keep him pretty busy these days. I have met him after a few shows but don't know him personally. If I named all my hard working friends who I hope will make it big then we'd be here all day. LOL
Can we keep the thread focused on those who ARE moving in a direction that most of us would like to? I never heard of Chris and Jordan before this post... now I have so the thread is serving a purpose. A few links to some of their work would be nice so I can see more of what you are talking about.
Best,
Tim
