Man On Wire, Opens Today.

On August 7th 1974, a young Frenchman named Philippe Petit stepped out on a wire illegally rigged between New York's twin towers, then the world’s tallest buildings. After nearly an hour dancing on the wire, he was arrested, taken for psychological evaluation, and brought to jail before he was finally released.

Wow! Thanks for the memories Steven.

It was the summer between my Junior and Senior year in High School. I remember it made quite an impression on me at the time, but I haven't thought about it for years.

I hope the movie makes it to my area. I would love to see the "behind the scenes" take on it.

I went to the premiere in N.Y.C. and after the movie was over the Director and Philippe Petit were both there to have a Q & A session. I was an amazing experience to be able to have him there to answer questions.
By far a great movie, and amazing experience.
