Luke Jermay's Get-Together

I had the privilege of being invited by Luke to his get-together at the Artesian hotel in Las Vegas. I wasn't able to make the first day, but did manage to spend a good deal of time there on day two, and will put a full review / story of the event in MAGICIAN MAGAZINE coming soon.

At the event, to name a few, were Michael Webber, Mike Close, Banachek (who writes for us), Erick Mead, John Lovick (aka Handsome Jack), The Bucks, Jason England, Jeremy Weiss (who writes for us), and many more. I had a fantastic conversation with Mike Close, who showed me photos of his daughter, who is 19 months old; she's precious.

Also a great talk with John, spent a little time eating away from the crowd with Luke, and a lot more.

All-in-all, it was great to visit with everyone; they were professional, up-beat, and really made me feel welcome. That, is top shelf in my book. And of course, I respect all of the people there, so that was a plus for me. Of course, Jamie (my son) and Cherie (my hot wife) were in tow for a while, which added to my personal enjoyment at the event.

Afterwards, I went out to dinner with Jerome Finley, who I absolutely adore as a person; he is an incredible dude, not only for his magic/mentalism talents, but just as a human being.

Sadly, ALL of the dang photos I took were dark and blurry, which was a result of the rather light deprived environment where the event was held. BTW, that hotel is beautiful! Totally sucks, as I'd like to have shared them with everyone here.

At a price tag of $1200 per head, it's a little out of reach for some people to attend. That's the only thing that would deter people. Other than that, it turned out really nice I think.

Sounds nice James. I'm really in envy of what is possible in Las Vegas, right in the back door. Here in Idaho I'd have to add another $600 for air fair to make it to an event like that. Here in Idaho we wouldn't see an event like that. Location, location, location. That's what it's all about.

Glad to hear you had a great time and I'm looking forward to reading the story.
