Honestly I dont think it is worth $40 dollar (I sold mine two weeks after buying it when it was first released) because it is very unpractical and requires a lot of pre show window prep. I would honestly just go with Kaos sold at ellusionist

I don't think that because an effect has a lot of pre-stage set-up that it dequalifies it as a good trick. It depends what you want the effect for. I mean, are you a casual performer? Are you going to be doing this for clients? Are you going to be mainly doing this in order to record a video of it?
Card thru Window is a great effect, and I'm not sure of any method out there that isn't impractical. If you watch any YouTube video of David Blane's infamous performance over and over and over again, you could figure it out and do your own version.
Is the video really worth $40?
Well, without watching the video I can't tell you. But what I can tell you is, you could save them bucks and purchase the Art of Astonishment by Paul Harris. You'll not only find better effects, you'll also get 30 some odd other great effects that NOBODY your age is performing any more.

No its not a bad effect if you have a stooge or helper, a window that takes about thirty minutes to prepare and stay prepared everytime you perform this. You cant do this on any window, just a window you have prepared. Cant be prepared on store windows, most people will just have the oppurtunities to do this on their home window and only do it when people are at your house, you have to spend and additional thrity dollars for just one of the gimmicks needed. All together with all the gimmicks that aren't included with the DVD you will spend about $50. So $90 for a card thru window that you can only do to one window and most peoples will be a home window. Or $20 for Kaos that can be done impromtu on any window, with any card, any time. So you make your own judgements for which is a better choice.

Like I said it just depends what your ultimate goal is.
Yes, if you are planning to do this impromptu... then get something more practical. But if you get hired for a company party and you want something that will completly blow the CEO's mind away..... so that they can hire you year after year.. you might want to go the extra inch.
I've been known to prepare a banquet room 3 days ahead of time just so I can get that trade show, just so that every year that same company hires me.

Alright, Thanks everyone!
I'm deciding between Kaos and Art of Astonishment :\
And yes, I'll be doing it impromptu.
hmm The Art of Astonishment is like sold out everywhere, nor does it exist anymore lol.
I guess I'll be going with Kaos.
Found the art of astonishment. The BOOKS are over 200$ each. Wow lol.

Yeah, those books and the Tarbell course is ALL you will need in magic for years to come.
You have absolutly no idea what is in those pages. If you do go for the better choice, I just suggest you practice what is in those books.

I would go with Kaos hands down... if you are good with your p*****g and comfortable with it... then Kaos is for you. Of course the rest are good too, but pulling a card through the window hands free is just awesome.
Remember to review your spectators response and not what you think is best... the reactions are what count.

Reason: Light exposure.

You might want to edit one of your sentences if I were you (exposure)
