Use Your Real Name

As you may have noticed, we do things a little differently here on this forum.

One of the issues that is critically important for the integrity of our little community is the usage of real names. We require our members to use their real (FIRST & LAST) names for a very specific reason.

Unlike other forums, our goal is to have a small tight nit group of people who are accountable to each other for their actions. We'd prefer to have a group of people who trust each other and know that their views will be respected even when others intensely disagree with them.
Courtesy, respect, and integrity are paramount to us.

One of the ways we feel that this can be accomplished is by eliminating a members option to hide behind an avatar. At other forums this is a problem of epic proportions. Often people who lurk for the sake of attacking others or stirring the pot do so under multiple names. We wish to avoid that here.

You are welcome to read anything here, but if you wish to participate, we only ask that you are honest about who you are and what you think. Being accountable often encourages members to reflect on what they will say before they say it.

While your privacy is certainly important to us, the way you interact with each other is all the more so.
