Allan,
What do you mean by submitting it?
Did you want to post it here in the forum?
Did you want to send it to SM Magazine for a review?
If you could be a little more specific your chances are better at getting pointed in the right direction.
Until we appear again,
Kipp Sherry

Allan,
I'd be glad to help you any way I can.
There are a couple of ways you could do this.
1) You could produce the video yourself if you have the proper equipment to do so.
2) You could hire someone to produce the video for you.
When you say that you have created a trick, before you publish it you should be sure to do your homework.
Is your trick totally a new creation, or is it built upon a premise that someone else created? You should spend a lot of time doing research behind your creation. Find out first if there really is anything like it already out there. If so, get permissions from the people your building upon. If these people have passed on, or the principles are considered public domain, at least give credit to those you have built upon. You may do the research and find out that you did in fact come up with something totally new. If so, congratulations!
Now the second question is "Why do you want to publish it?" which begs several other questions. Are you trying to create a name for Allen Luu and a reputation as a great creator in magic? Are you trying to pass on all your years of knowledge before you die and the secrets are lost forever? Do you just want to try your hand at making some money in the world of magic? Have you created something so revolutionary that the magic community cannot live without it?
Until we appear again,
Kipp Sherry

Hey Allan, click on this link: http://forums.theory11.com/showthread.php?t=3474
It's about a post my friend Craig Browning wrote about coming up with new tricks. Not sure if it helps. If you read this and still want to proceed then let Kipp know.

I think what he means by "submitting" is if you think youve created an amazing trick, could you some how contact Blacks Magic Group and see if its good enough to be sold on BlackMagicGroup.com and create a dvd of that effect.
